“The first step toward getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.”
– J. P. Morgan
Everyone can benefit from therapy.
As part of our shared humanity, we all experience emotional pain.
People struggle. People hurt. People need support.
Whether it’s for yourself or a relationship, sometimes we all need a little extra support.
Therapy is about transformation.
Taking your life back! Your power back.
Breaking free from pain… finding healing.
Discovering new meaning and purpose in life.
Uncovering and restoring your true self.
Therapy renews and makes you whole again!
Therapy is a courageous choice.
It’s okay to be truthful and ask for help.
Reaching out is a sign of strength and humility – not weakness.
You are braver than you think. You are stronger than you know.
Therapy could be the most important thing you do to take care of yourself.
Yes, therapy is all about you. But this is not self-centered. It is mature – it is responsible – it is honest.
Therapy nurtures your spirit.
Emotional “toxins” like shame and self-hatred contaminate deep within your core.
Therapy cleanses your soul. It purges the pollutants you’ve been harboring so long.
Seeing yourself in a new light will start to become reality.
Self-acceptance and compassion will replace self-hatred and persecution.
Finally, you’ll receive the lasting, deep-rooted healing you need!
Therapy is liberating.
You will discover your hidden potential – your value – your worth.
Therapy frees you to be precisely who you were meant to be.
To create the life you want to live.
Seize the moment.
Your happiness – your hopes – your dreams – are important!

About Karen
Thank you for visiting my website. I am happy you are here!
For as long as I can remember, I have been called a “good listener” and had a natural ability to connect and empathize with others. Much later in life, this inspired me to return to school and pursue my master’s degree in clinical psychology.
Once I completed graduate school, years of internships, over 3,000 clinical hours, and passing the grueling California state licensing exam, I had finally “arrived” and found my true calling. Being a therapist is what I love to do!
After living for 24 years in California, in 2019, I moved back to my home state of Ohio and opened my first private practice. This has been a dream of mine! I take great pride in my commitment to helping individuals and couples restore their lives to experience clarity, peace, and confidence.
I desire that every time you walk through my doors, you experience a relaxing and welcoming environment in which you feel at ease.
It would be an honor and a privilege to be a part of your healing journey.
I look forward to hearing from you!
